Located in Kuranda, amidst the lush beauty of Queensland’s World Heritage-listed Wet Tropics, the Rainforestation Nature Park is a 100-acre award-winning eco-tourism destination. With interactive wildlife encounters, Aboriginal culture demonstrations, and a scenic army duck tour, the park guarantees a memorable experience. It invites visitors to explore the pristine rainforest.

This attraction includes:

  • Koala and Wildlife Park
  • Army Duck Rainforest Tour
  • Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience

And so much more!

Start your day with a tour of the Rainforestation Nature Park on an army duck.  This 45-minute Rainforest tour is on both land and water.

Along the way, learn interesting facts about the local flora and fauna.

Next, the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience offers an authentic insight into the World’s oldest surviving culture.

This show features traditional dancing and Dreamtime stories.  It is fun, educational, and informative.

Next, meet incredible Australian animals, including koalas, dingoes, Tasmanian devils, and crocodiles.

This attraction has a host of baby koalas, including Teddy, Evie, Katie, and Willow.

During the day, you can have your photo taken while cuddling a koala or holding a crocodile.

Here, you can also see Cassowary, Tree Kangaroos, and Crocodiles.

This is a self-drive option. We recommend planning at least 3 hours at the Rainforestation Nature Park to enjoy all these activities.
